ASCE The ASCENT regional retreats are gatherings across Ontario with Quebec to youth (grades 6-12) to engage with Jesus in a different way than back home. It is a time set apart to consider the inspiration and challenge of Jesus’s word for this upcoming generation. Each retreat will be held at a local camp in its respective region, giving youth groups the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature while enjoying a weekend packed with high-energy activities, worship, teaching and meaningful connections.

  • November 7-9, 2025: Camp Kwasind
  • April 24-26, 2026: Circle Square Ranch-Grand River
  • May 1-3, 2026: Silver Lake Wesleyan Camp
  • May 29-31, 2026: Pearce Williams Camp

After 25 years of Avalanche and Blizzard retreat, there was all clear calling to smaller, local and more cost effective retreats for CBOQ youth. Ascent Regional Retreats are the results of the calling. To support the calling we have chosen 4 area across Ontario; South Western, Niagara-Hamilton, GTA/Northern, and Eastern. These retreats are designed to bring together the next generation from local churches and communities for a fun, unique, and affordable experience that fosters faith, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

Note: While these retreats are situated in regions mirroring our CBOQ Church Life and Leadership Regional Associates, churches are not restricted to going to the one closest to them.
