It was fantastic. Christ was central in all that was said and sung about. We praise HIM for all that He has done for us through the cross. Last Sunday (June 12), for International Day of Prayer for

Best Practices: Community Impact

The person and message of God isn’t meant just for the body of believers; His grace, mercy and justice is meant to transform all of creation, including the communities surrounding a local church. What good is it to hide the light of Christ where no one else can see? At last spring’s Youth Pastors Summit, our group of youth pastors focused on how we can impact our communities through youth

Short-Term Consideration 3: Take the time now to discern the best way(s) to serve your youth and community and have the necessary resources in place.

A couple of caveats with this:  Do not presume your youth ministry mandate/objectives/methods are exactly the same as they were pre-pandemic. In some cases, you may have youth who did connect with your youth ministry in the last few months who are not geographically able to meet in-person. Your strategies may need to be revised in light of new factors.  Your youth ministry is not meant to be all-encompassing.
