Youth and young adults are capable of dreaming different, creative and diverse ways in bringing Jesus’s good news to their peers and beyond. Part of the church’s responsibility is to support, empower and advocate alongside the inspirations these youth within our churches receive from God.
As your youth begin to receive these seeds of ministry, we encourage your church/youth ministry to come alongside them to support and encourage; one way is to apply on their behalf for one of our Student-Led Initiatives microgrants up to $1000.
As a youth (ages 25 years or younger):
- Propose a ministry project idea to your CBOQ church including the purpose/objectives (why), what resources and budget are needed (with what) and the program/strategy to carry it out (how). Provide as many details as you can (including some FAQs).
- If your initiative is approved, you will be the key leader in implementing that plan.
- Provide regular updates both to your church and to CBOQ.
As a CBOQ church:
- Discern this ministry initiative like any other proposals given to your governing board.
- If your church endorses this initiative, apply for a micro-grant.
- Support the youth and the initiative with mentorship and prayer.
