This summer, Iglesia Bautista Luz Y Verdad had the joy of sending 10 of our teens to camp at Word of Life in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Their youth leader, Laura Elena, shared how deeply the experience Impacted their youth. “They came back like a family and they are more persuasive at the Word of God, and I think that’s a huge change in them.”
The Youth leaders have seen a noticeable transformation in the teens attitudes, relationships, and hunger for God’s Word. This year, the youth group has been diving into important and challenging biblical topics. Right now, they’re studying future events, including the tribulation and the second coming of Jesus. It’s not easy material, but they are engaged, eager, and growing.
“It has been challenging,” Laura Elena added, “but they are learning a lot and they are hungry to learn more about Jesus. We are happy to see them changing.”
Please keep praying for the youth of Iglesia Bautista Luz Y Verdad and that their faith would continue to grow, and for them to know Jesus. Laura Elena and the other youth leaders know that they have a great group of youth, and love them as their own.
