In the coming weeks following Avalanche and Blizzard, we’ll be adding some special content for our Roadtrip guests.
Roadtrip: where faith, life and community intersect
“ROAD TRIP!” Many people resonate with those words. It sparks a sense of excitement, adventure and memorable moments. It’s stepping away from the everyday routine. What’s even more fun is when we get to meet someone we’ve anticipated seeing on the other end, converging in one location for a shared experience together.
For Jesus’s church, it’s where faith, life and community intersect.
This theme focuses on the concept of “I belong – connected to a faith community“.
It’s moments when we gather, recognizing that our worth and identity extends from God himself. It’s a place where each of us belong. Yes, we come as we are; we leave hopefully impacted and transformed by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus invites us to join his road trip. It’s a road trip that happens together, not just individually.
The writer of Hebrews reminds us, “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:23-25 NLT).
Jesus invites everyone, including you, on his road trip, where faith, life and community intersect. Will you join him?
I am really looking forward to Blizzard this year! What an incredible theme. Cannot wait to see the students connect with each other, leaders and Christ!
