With the extended school closure, what will your youth (and the kids in your church and neighbourhood) be doing? While some parents/guardians are able to take that time off (or may be self-isolating as well), others may not have that option. They may be turning to your youth to supervise/babysit those kids. CBOQ Kids has just released a virtual day camp as a resource for your youth (and parents) to take advantage of.

CBOQ Kids recognizes the unique dynamics the next three weeks will entail for families. This resource is a self-contained, adaptable system with ideas to help complete the modules. Over the next few days, CBOQ Kids will be adding to it.

For the youth in your group, if they choose to be available to supervise/babysit the kids in their neighbourhood or church family, then consider suggesting this as an option for some (or all) of those days.

For churches looking to take advantage of this, do note the considerations listed at the bottom of the webpage.

During this time of scrambling, we hope this resource will help alleviate some anxieties and that it would be a blessing to the families in your church and neighbourhood.
