This fall, CBOQ Kids created a new resource called the "Grandtastic Adventure". The intention with this resource kit is to provide different ways for grandparents to connect and support their grandchildren spiritually. You can hear more from Tanya at cboqkids.ca/grandtastic about why and how this resource can be a great help. From a youth ministry perspective, many of these resources are very applicable. Grandparents can be that alternative voice when

Families that include those who have to go to work (whose jobs are deemed essential services), face a dilemma. Who will care for their children? At the time of this posting, based on the list provided by the Ontario government, individuals may be able to provide home childcare services for fewer than 6 children. Could our members (including youth) help those in their neighbourhoods by providing childcare? A few days ago, CBOQ Kids developed a virtual day camp template. It includes ideas for

With the extended school closure, what will your youth (and the kids in your church and neighbourhood) be doing? While some parents/guardians are able to take that time off (or may be self-isolating as well), others may not have that option. They may be turning to your youth to supervise/babysit those kids. CBOQ Kids has just released a virtual day camp as a resource for your youth (and parents) to

Last Saturday, CBOQ Kids (with support from CBOQ Youth) hosted the 4th Faith and Family event with Raptors 905 (the G-League team of the Toronto Raptors). Along with CBOQ Kids, we are extending their Raptors 905 Faith and Family event to include a youth outreach component. This is a great opportunity to come watch hopefully-soon-to-be NBA players, then enjoy a post-game program featuring a Raptors 905 player and on-court games. (Think of this as Centre Court, G-League style.) Have your students invite their friends (and their families) for this affordable event! Fill out my online

Last Saturday, CBOQ Kids welcomed almost 150 people to the Raptors 905 Faith/Family game. Not only did they witness a Raptors 905 victory (along with some highlights), they also heard from Derek Cooke Jr and Rodney Pryor. After the game, everyone under the age of 13 was given the opportunity to get a player's autograph and take 1 shot on court. Afterwards, we gathered in section 2 for our post-game

CBOQ Kids hosted the first ever Raptors 905 Faith/Family event last Saturday. Not only did several families get to witness the Raptors 905 clinch the Central Division title and got player autographs, they had a chance to hang out court-side afterwards. Herbie Kuhn, the voice of the Raptors, shared his experiences as the Toronto Raptor's PA announcer and team chaplain. More importantly, he emphasized how Jesus is first in his
